A Quiet Celebration
We think of Morie Nishimura's brass mirrors as both art and functional object. Mirrors weren't always made of glass and silver nitrate. History tells us that our ancestors were using polished brass as far back as 3,000 BC to see themselves. 'A Quiet Celebration' pays homage to those before us by allowing us to see ourselves as they once did. This beautiful polished brass, hinged mirror, hangs on any surface - whether as art or object - it is surely a focal piece in any room. Handmade Made in Japan. Signed by the artist.
