I did a little write up for Planet Magazine about Japanese designer, Masanori Ojis collaboration with brass makers, Futagami.  By now, you’ve probably all seen his amazing brass bottle openers and trivets that came out earlier this year.  He has a new line of lights called Ihada and Myojo, handmade by Futagami.  You can read the article here.

As a material that’s been used for thousands of years, I love that we’re seeing more brass in contemporary design these days.  What do you think of the lights?
